Last week, Adrien Broner was “retired” from professional boxing via Instagram. This week, Adrien Broner has inked an 5-year, $50 million deal with Floyd Mayweather, and TMT Promotions via Instagram. Life comes at you fast on the gram, huh?

At least it does when you’re Adrien Broner, who seems to live his life for the ‘Gram. Virtually all of Broner’s most intimate and immediate thoughts are on display for Instagram. Often deleted when he steps over the edge, which is often, it’s hard to tell when Broner is kidding, trolling, or truthful. That’s just the world of Adrien Broner we’ve come accustomed to by now.

Now that Broner’s 9-day retirement is over, it’ll certainly be debated whether his self-proclaimed deal with TMT is authentic or not. You seriously just never know what the hell Broner is doing or talking about often times if you follow is IG feed. Or if it is real or just another spaz-tastic moment in the life and times.
The contentious relationship of Broner, Leonard Ellerbe, and Floyd Mayweather, definitely makes this a head-scratcher. Just two months ago, Broner went on a profanity-laced tirade on the TMT CEO, calling him a bitch. And, accusing him of “always being against him,” prior to his draw with Jesse Vargas.
There’s also always been a wild and crazy, little brother-big brother, love-hate relationship with Floyd Mayweather. However, the two seem to always kind of make up and work together regardless of Broner’s outbursts and insults.
Broner has not won a fight in over a calendar year now. His last win, in February 2017, versus Adrian Granados, was controversial, and uninspiring of such a contract, as well. Thus, making such a deal with TMT risky to say the least.
